An early morning apartment fire in Bozeman, Montana claimed the lives of two men formerly of Sheridan. The Bozeman Fire Department has confirmed that the bodies of 29-year-old Dale Beard and 30-year-old Jacob Neuman were found by firefighters in an apartment at 215 South 18th Avenue in Bozeman.

Firefighters from all three Bozeman Fire Stations responded to the apartment complex just after 1 am Tuesday to find the south end of the building fully engulfed in flames.

In a statement issued by the fire department, strong winds fanned the fire before firefighters arrived on scene, adding to the severity of the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
