It's the signal that Rodeo Week is here; it's the annual Sheridan WYO Rodeo boot kick-off. It began years ago on Main Street, moved to Kendrick Park, and now, in its second year, the boot kick-off took place Saturday evening on the back lawn of Sheridan College.
A family-friendly event, there was something for all ages. Boot Kick-Off Chairwoman, Linda St. Clair.
There are certain tricks to boot kicking.
Amber Nickel competed, short black dress and all. She used the Marilyn Monroe technique.
Following the Boot Kick-Off, the Craft Brothers provided live entertainment followed by the Powder River Boys.
