Big Horn High School will celebrate its recognition as a Blue Ribbon School on Monday, October 31st with activities all day, including an official award presentation from the Wyoming Department of Education.
Clementina Jimenez, program manager for the quality instruction and learning team with the Wyoming Dept. of Education, and David Holbrook, head of the quality instruction and learning team, will present the award to Big Horn High School during a school assembly Monday at 11 am.
In September, Big Horn High School was named as one of 304 Blue Ribbon Schools in the country by the Secretary of Education. They are only the fourth Wyoming school to receive the award since the program began in 1982 and the first since 1992.
