Sheridan High School will again sell birdhouses to raise scholarship money during their spring play, Hello Dolly, this weekend at the high school.
Last year was the first year they held the fundraiser and it was a success when just about $200 worth of materials to build the houses brought in $2,700 in scholarship money. SHS guidance counselor Ed Fessler tells us more.
Students build the houses and local artisans decorate them for auction during the play. Birdhouses will be on display all weekend and bids close on Sunday.
