Bill to Add Judge in Sheridan Gets First Reading

Proposed legislation would set aside $950,000 of the two-year budget for the state in order to add an extra judge in Sheridan and Johnson Counties.

House Appropriations Committee on Friday heard first reading on House Bill 26. Representative Rosie Berger sits on that committee and tells us more.

Second reading will take place on Monday. Tune in tomorrow when we will take a look at Senate File 40, which deals with proposed raises for the judicial branch positions in the state.
