Coming up June 24th and 25th, the Advocacy & Resource Center is hosting its 3rd Annual Bikers Against Bruises event. Friday night the 24th is geared toward families, says co-organizer Yvonne Swanson.
The winner of the Show & Shine Friday night on Grinnell Plaza receives half of the money put in from the votes. And a plus – any two- or three-wheeled motorbike or scooter can be entered into that event. The June 24th celebration runs from 4 pm to 9 pm.
Then on Saturday the 25th, the poker run takes place, says co-organizer Rhonda Weber.
Riders will go over US 14 down Shell Canyon, stopping along the way at the Elk View Inn on top of the mountain, and at Lisa's Restaurant in Greybull.
In Worland, lunch will be provided by local church ladies before participants go back over the mountain via US 16 into Buffalo. From Buffalo, they return to Sheridan, ending the day with a BBQ Brisket Dinner at the Sheridan Holiday Inn.
Of course, the money raised goes to all the services the Advocacy & Resource Center provides. Weber reminds us.
