The Biggest Crowd Ever

Who says there's nothing to do in Sheridan? Saturday, the fairground's Exhibition Hall was filled with a sea of little people and their parents, all vying for those special tokens that would get them a super prize.

It was the annual 4-H Carnival and there was something for everyone from fishing booths, shooting games, a pie toss, a cake walk, plus a chili feed.

It's all about raising money for the local 4-H clubs. Carol French was there lending a hand.

Jeanie Mayfield has seen four generations in her family involved in 4-H.

Mason Mayfield was having a good time.

Seventeen year-old Junior Leader Gabrielle Koltiska was there helping keep everything running smoothly. She says 4-H has been a great experience.

As for the crowds of kids and long lines, Carol French sums it up best.

There are over 90,000 4-H clubs nationwide.
