The smell of pancakes and sausage cooking was in the air of beautiful Big Horn Saturday morning. It was the annual Big Horn Volunteer Fire Department Pancake Breakfast. A fundraiser as well as a community open house Fire Chief Doug Enloe explains.
The warm, sunny morning had hungry people showing up before the 7 a.m. start time. All told, the fire crew cooked up 60 pounds of sausage and twelve and a half gallons of pancake batter...that's about 500 pancakes.
Carl Sanders was enjoying his fill.
Part of the fundraiser included a raffle for two Android Tablets.
