The Ninth Annual Big Horn Mountain Festival happened this past weekend at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Buffalo and again featured some of the best musicians, singers, songwriters and bands in the acoustic music genre.
Although specific numbers weren't available yet, co-organizer Paul Jarvis said by all indications there were more people in attendance this year over last.
Nearly 20 different acts performed at this year's event, split between two separate stages.
In addition to the great music; band scrambles; workshops for various instruments, vocals and songwriting; there were the musical instrument contests and the performances by the kids from the week-long Kids' Bluegrass Band Camp.
We will post the results from the contests as we get them.
Next year looks to be the biggest and best festival so far as they celebrate their tenth year in existence in 2014.
