About 650 student leaders representing over fifty high schools around Wyoming will be visiting Big Horn High School November 8th and 9th, as the school plays host to the annual High School State Student Council Convention.
Some events will be at the Golden Dome at Sheridan College, while others will be at Big Horn High School. Student adviser Richard Welch outlines the activities for the daytime on Monday, November 8th.
Because of the four-day school week for District 1, students from BHHS will be bused over to Tongue River High School Monday at 1 o'clock for a special assembly, while the 650 council members shift activities from the Golden Dome to the Big Horn campus.
It doesn't stop there on Monday; Welch says a special evening is planned as well.
Tuesday morning, November 9th it's back out to the Golden Dome.
This is the first time that Big Horn High School has ever hosted the convention, thanks to the new facilities on the Big Horn Campus.
