Q2 News out of Billings, Montana has reported that the search has ended for a Crow Tribe Fish and Wildlife Ranger in Big Horn County.
Initial reports on Tuesday from the Big Horn County Sheriff's Office warned the public to be on the lookout for a man driving an older model, red Dodge pickup truck belonging to the Crow Tribe Fish and Game Department, as he was considered armed and dangerous.
It was reported that the man discharged a firearm out of the vehicle, however there's been no clarification as to whom the man was shooting at, or if he was shooting at anyone at all. Crow Tribe Chairman Darrin Old Coyote released a statement saying that the individual has no known history of violence and has worked on many safety efforts with the Crow Tribe.
The Big Horn County Sheriff's Office along with the Bureau of Indian Affairs continued its search after the Crow Tribe Fish and Game pickup truck was located late Tuesday in a remote area abandoned on the reservation. The Crow Tribe issued a statement Wednesday morning that the man had been located on the Crow Reservation, but tribal officials are not releasing the man's name.
Crow Tribe Public Relations Specialist Cordell Stewart confirmed the man was employed by the Crow Tribe. As to his current employment status and if any legal action would be taken against the man, Stewart would not comment.

According to a media release, the Big Horn County Sheriff's Office and Bureau of Indian Affairs have located the pickup truck linked to a search that began Tuesday afternoon. The release states that the older model, red Dodge pickup truck belonging to the Crow Tribe Fish and Game Department was found abandoned on the Crow Reservation.
The man authorities are looking for remains at large. As of Wednesday morning, no other information on the man's identity or if he is still considered armed and dangerous was available.

According to Q2 News out of Billings, the Big Horn County Sheriff's Office in Montana continues to search for a Crow Tribe Fish and Game Pickup truck. Reports are that the man driving it is armed and dangerous. The pickup truck is a red, older model Dodge with license plate number "F&G5." The man's name is not being released at this time, however it's been confirmed that the man is Native American and was recently employed by the Crow Tribe Fish and Game Department.
The Big Horn County Sheriff's Office advises to not approach the individual or the vehicle if spotted. Law enforcement urges anyone with information to call (406) 665-9825.
