Officials with the City of Sheridan and the Sheridan Area Water Supply system received three bids Tuesday on the government mandated treatment plant upgrades to both the Big Goose Water Treatment Plant, and the Sheridan Water Treatment Plant. Sheridan County Public Works Director and SAWS Administrator Rod Liesinger.
Liesinger said that over the next several days they will go over the bids to make sure that they are valid and responsible bids before they make a recommendation to the City sometime early next week. The project is estimated at $6 million, however, grant money and low interest, long-term loans were secured from the state last fall.
