WWC Engineering, the City of Buffalo, Johnson County and the Wyoming Water Development Commission hosted the bid opening for the Northwest Water Pipeline Project at Buffalo's City Hall Tuesday.
There were nine bids on the project ranging from a high of just over $3.6 million to a low of just over $2.5 million, which was submitted by North Star Energy.
There were a number of bids in the $2.8 million range, with the average of all bids coming in at $3.1 million.
The engineer's estimate for the project was roughly $3.5 million.

WWC Engineering is expected to recommend the city council accept the $2.5 million bid from North Star Energy at their council meeting next week.
