Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery hosted the bid opening for the Crazy Woman Square Revitalization Project Tuesday afternoon at Buffalo's City Hall, reviewing the three seperate bids received.
The first bid came from Fletcher Construction, a base bid of just under $675,000. Bid number two came from Wright Brothers Construction in the amount of nearly $749,000. The last bid was from Odell Construction for roughly $709,000.
Jeff Bond, the architect for the project, said the engineer's estimate he had come up with for the project was for $840,000 but had a substantial amount of leeway penciled into the estimate.
Montgomery told the bidding companies what the next step in the process will be.
The city council will get the recommendation at their next meeting May 1.
