The City of Sheridan awarded the bid Monday night for the Pathway Bridges Project to Stone Mill Construction of Sheridan in the amount of $253,719.50. Prior to awarding the bid to Stone Mill, City Councilman John Heath weighed in with his support of the motion.
The project will bridge the gaps between the recently completed Fort to Canfield pathway and the current construction of the Wrench Ranch Pathways. An additional bridge will be placed at the end of the eastern leg of the South Park Pathway, which is currently under construction, and connect to Sheridan Avenue near RENEW. The bid from Stone Mill came in almost $44,000 below the engineer's estimate for the project.
