Buffalo High School students were out in the community Wednesday morning performing various tasks, lending their talents musically or vocally, or serving the community in a number of ways.

BHS Principal Chad Bourgeois explains more about what the kids were doing and why.

In addition to the kids giftwrapping presents for donations at Deerfield's, they also performed musically at numerous locations including the senior center, hospital and Amie Holt Care Center and for donations at Ace Hardware and downtown at Crazy Woman Square.

The BHS band members, along with “Bruiser” the Bison, raised more than $300 in donations during their performances downtown.

Craig Kitto, Associate Pprincipal at BHS, said the day was a success and the kids should be proud of their accomplishments.

The BHS Holiday Helpers accomplished their goals in just under four hours on Wednesday.
