This year's Buffalo High School play, a musical entitled “Seven Brides For Seven Brothers,” will be performed Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 at the BHS Auditorium, beginning at 7pm both nights.
Drama Coach Nancy Tabb tells us a little about the story behind the musical.
The brothers then end up kidnapping their sweethearts and taking them to their cabin where they remain, unmarried, all winter long.
In the Spring, the townspeople and the girls' suitors all come looking for them.
To find out who gets the girls, the brothers or the suitors, you need to attend one of the shows later this month.
Admission to the musical is free, but donations are accepted to help offset the cost of props and costumes.
