The Bighorn Mountain Coalition held their quarterly meeting in Buffalo on Wednesday to discuss economic concerns of the four counties; Big Horn, Washakie, Sheridan and Johnson, surrounding the Bighorn Mountains.
Angela Jarvis, with the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce and also the BHMCC Treasurer, said the coalition is really a voice for the Bighorn Mountains and the counties and they work toward promoting the counties and to find the best economic strategies for them.
Each quarter a different community hosts the meeting. This quarter the meeting was held in Buffalo, with the next meeting scheduled for Washakie County/Worland, then Big Horn County/Basin and Sheridan County/Sheridan before it returns to Buffalo.
For more information or to forward ideas or concerns to the coalition, contact Jarvis at the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce at 684-5544 or Mike Nickel with the Sheridan County Commission at 674-2900.
