Bestselling Author Returns to Sheridan Saturday

New York Times bestselling author, Jay Asher, will be at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Saturday to promote his new book, “The Future of Us,” which he co-wrote with Carolyn Mackler.

The story takes place in the mid 90s, when home computers were just starting to take off. Asher explains something very unusual happens to his characters.

In the story, Asher's characters explore how making small changes in their present lives impact their futures.

Asher lived in Sheridan for a few months back in 2002, where he worked at both the Fulmer Library and Sheridan Stationary. He said his first time back in town will be nostalgic for him.

Asher will be at the Sheridan library at 2 p.m. Saturday. Copies of his new book, “The Future of Us,” are available at his former place of employment, Sheridan Stationary.
