The Buffalo Downtown Association (BDA) has been advertising for a new director for a number of weeks now, and they are still taking applications for someone to take over for former Director Marie Verger, who has moved on to other pursuits, according to Nick Thom with the BDA.
Thom said although they are taking applications, hiring a new director will be on hold until the BDA has a “recon” visit with officials from the Wyoming State Main Street Organization.
He tells us more about the process.
The representatives from the state program will help the Buffalo Program develop a game plan in the search for a new director, he said.
The “Recon” meetings with the BDA Board will be held Thursday in Buffalo, he said, and a public meeting will follow with information on where the BDA stands now and where it is going.
