The Sheridan County Historical Society will be holding their annual trek for the museum this Sunday (Sept. 29). This year's destination will be Battle Butte, or the Battle of Wolf Mountain battlefield in southern Montana. Historical Society board member Katie Curtiss says that Battle Butte occurred after the Battle of the Little Bighorn.

The trek will begin at the Sheridan County Museum Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. It is $10 for historical society or museum members, and $15 for non-members. Space is limited, so if you'd like to attend, call the Sheridan County Museum at 675-1150 to reserve a spot.
