Barrasso: Missing Senate Budget, High Unemployment Directly Linked

Senator John Barrasso, on Friday, the 800th day since the United States Senate has passed a budget, said that the lapse since the last budget is directly linked with the country's high unemployment rate.

Citing the unemployment rate which raised to 9.2 percent also on Friday, Barrasso said that Washington's spending and expensive regulations have made growing jobs in the private sector of the country difficult.

Barrasso also blamed the country's leadership for a budget not being passed. He will call on the Majority to propose a fiscally responsible budget and bring it to the floor for a vote.
