The Wyoming Wilderness Association along with the Winter Wildlands Alliance, will present a backcountry Film Festival Friday at Buffalo High School's Auditorium beginning at 6 pm.
The festival will feature a number of films ranging in length from a few minutes up to 30 minutes, according to Justin Gerard, Communications and Bighorn Community Outreach Specialist with the Wyoming Wilderness Association.
Human-powered outdoor fun is the theme for the film festival, according to Gerard, who said winter can be the a tough time for people to get outdoors, and the films are meant to inspire people to get outdoors and enjoy the great recreational opportunities available right here in Northeast Wyoming.
The cost of the film festival is just $5 per person, and kids 12 and under eat for free.
There will be raffle items and a chance to get involved in preserving backcountry play land.
