Johnson County's Commissioners were given the report on their annual audit at last week's meeting, and the findings were good overall.
Jim Dawson, with Porter, Muirhead, Cornia and Howard CPAs from Casper, explained to the commission what work his firm performed.
Dawson said controls and checks were in place and no laws were broken, but weaknesses were found in procedures. He explains.
The audit did find the county in compliance with state and Federal mandates and standards, and Dawson said the county is “doing all the right things.”
