Buffalo's Bread of Life Food Pantry is always in need of donations, but in these hard times they are looking for a few more resources to make sure no one goes hungry.

The Food Pantry will auction off artwork in the form of decorated replica sheep wagons at this year's kickoff celebration to the 2011 North American Basque Organization, or NABO, festival hosted by the Bighorn Basque Club of Buffalo.

Friday night in Crazy Woman Square beginning at 6 pm, the Food Pantry will auction 25 wagons from 25 different artists.

Johnnie Pond, Chairman of the Board of the Bread of Life Food Pantry, tells us more about the auction and the artwork.

Along with the auction, the kickoff to the NABO Festival will feature the artists who created the sheep wagons, music by Basque musicians and traditional dance performed by members of the Big Horn Basque Club.
