An amended Emergency Management Grant was approved by the Johnson County Commissioners at their Tuesday meeting, which will allow local Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly to purchase additional equipment for the Justice Center.

Volunteers Needed Immediately for Shelter Roof Build Project

The roofing project for the dog runs at the animal shelter in Sheridan has begun, so volunteers are needed, immediately. Shelter Director Debie Crawford said they'll be working on the project throughout the daytime hours, from about 9-4, through Friday.
