Gene Sturlin, with the Buffalo Downtown Association, approached the Buffalo City Council at their last meeting, asking for permission for the use of fireworks and for a static display during the Light Up Buffalo celebration downtown.
At the regular meeting of the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees this week, Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler reported that Conrad Street at the new Cloud Peak School may get extended through to South Main Street sooner than originally thought.
In early June of this year, the Wyoming Rural Development Council conducted a community assessment for the mountain community of Story. Residents had a chance to give their opinions and ideas of what they would like to see regarding the future of Story.
