Author/illustrator Zachary Pullen of Casper will be honored at a reception from 2 until 4 Sunday at the Brinton Museum in Big Horn. The event is open free to the public. Eighty-five of the artist's original works are on display at the museum through June 4, featuring eight of the many books he has written and illustrated.
The artist will be at the museum all next week in a series of educational talks to school children. Museum Educator Barbara McNab said 19 groups of children, about 600 in all, will attend the presentations from Monday through Thursday. Also next Thursday, the artist will be featured in a gallery talk in the Reception Gallery starting at 7:30 in the evening. On May 17, he will be featured in a book signing from 2 until 4.
The museum gallery and main house are open from 10 until 5 on Mondays through Saturdays, and noon until 5, and by appointments on Sundays. Funding for the current exhibit is provided by the Edwin T. Meredith Foundation.
