Two local females were arrested this week in connection with an investigation by the Buffalo Police Department that began at Buffalo High School back in December of 2010.
Buffalo Police Chief Mike Chapman explains what happened.

Chapman said information gathered at the time of the arrests led to a warrant to search the premises to obtain more evidence.
The 43 year-old female was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance to a minor and two counts of conspiracy. The 19 year-old female was charged with two counts of conspiracy. Chapman declined to identify the two women.

The investigation began at Buffalo High School last month and has continued until now. Chapman said the arrests this week stemmed from that investigation, and explains how kids at the high school became involved.

Chapman said he could not comment further on the investigation at the high school or about the students involved. One of the two females charged is still in custody, Chapman said, while the other has been released.
