The Sheridan County School District 1 Board of Trustees Tuesday approved an architect to work on the expansion of Tongue River Elementary School. The trustees approved Plan One, a firm with offices in Wyoming and Idaho, to move forward with the project.
District superintendent, Marty Kobza, explains the design will be a prototype based on other schools in the state.
The legislature approved the $10 million recommended by the School Facilities Commission for the elementary school to expand. Kobza says the project will help fill a dire need for more space at Tongue River Elementary.
