The Bozeman Trail Museum in Big Horn will host a program for kids of all ages Sunday. From noon to 3, there will be will be a tour of the museum with hands on exhibits, food, music, and the chance to participate in the excavation of artifacts from The Bozeman Trail.
The museum is located in a historic blacksmith’s shop at the south end of Johnson Street in Big Horn. This is a free event. A barbecue will begin at noon on the 29th, followed by a musical performance by Mike Kuzara, president of the Big Horn City Historical Society. The hands-on demonstration of archaeological excavation will begin at 1:30 pm.
