Now that the 2013 drawings for resident elk and resident and nonresident deer and antelope licenses have wrapped up, hunters can check their results by checking the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's website or by calling 777-4600.

According to the department, those unsuccessful in the drawings will receive refund warrants in the mail in the next several weeks. Shortly after those are sent out, those who were successful in the drawings will receive licenses in the mail.

And as Game and Fish frequently reports, there are plenty of areas with licenses still remaining. More than 8,000 full-price antelope licenses are available along with over 11,000 reduced price doe/fawn antelope licenses. For deer, just over 3,000 full-price licenses remain as well as more than 10,000 doe/fawn licenses. There are also more than 3,000 full-price licenses available for elk and more than 12,000 cow/calf licenses.

For a complete count of the licenses remaining for each species, visit http://wgfd.wyo.gov. Hunters can purchase full-price leftover licenses online, at automated license agents, or at Game and Fish regional offices beginning at 8 a.m. on July 10. Reduced-price licenses for cow/calf elk and doe/fawn antelope and deer will be available on July 17.
