Buffalo's annual Turkey Trot fundraiser took place on Saturday, and was again a big success, if the number of participants is any indication.
Close to 100 people all donated time and money to help in raising funds for the Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice in Buffalo.
According to Hospice volunteer Bill Webber, Sr., it also lets people know what the Hospice program is about.
The Turkey Trot has been a Buffalo tradition since the 1990s, and Webber explained how the fundraiser works.
All proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to offset costs involved with helping terminally-ill patients in Buffalo, Kaycee, Story and all of Johnson County.
