Annual Hospital Quality Report Shows Marked Improvement

The Quality Committee for the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees recently reviewed and released the annual quality report for the Hospital. Quality Services Manager Lajune Bacon says that while the Hospital strives to improve all patient services from year to year, pediatrics was an area that was targeted by staff during the previous fiscal year.

Bacon explains that patient safety goals is an area that they will continue to focus on throughout the current fiscal year.

Bacon stated that staff asks patients their name and date of birth frequently throughout their stay at the hospital to make sure that the patient is identified appropriately.
