Buffalo's annual Health Fair will be happening this Saturday, March 16th from 9am until noon at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
Those that had their blood drawn for the various screenings can pick up their results at the Health Fair.
Screenings check for many different health issues or see how management of existing afflictions is doing.
As always, the Health Fair will have lots of booths to check out to see what's new for people to better their health or learn about new products and services that are being offered.
Karen Sullivan, Patient Education Specialist at Johnson County Healthcare Center, tells us more about the Health Fair booths.
Hearing and vision screens and BMI (Body Mass Index) checks will also be available.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office will have a booth set up to take back unused or expired prescription drugs, no questions asked; and the Lion's Club will be taking old eyeglasses for donation to those who can't afford them.
Again the annual Health Fair will be Saturday from 9am until noon at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
