The 2014 Johnson County Health Fair is fast approaching.
Every year, the Johnson County Healthcare Center teams with Wyoming Health Fairs to offer discounted blood tests for the citizens of Johnson County.
This week Buffalo residents can have their blood drawn, have various screenings performed, and then pick up their results at next month's Health Fair.
Marcy Schueler, Director of Marketing for JCHC, tells us more about the blood draws and the upcoming Health Fair.
This week's blood draws in Buffalo will be Monday, February 10th through Friday, February 14th at the Johnson County Fairgrounds' Community Building from 7 to 10 am all week.
Blood draws in Kaycee will be next week, Wednesday, February 19th and Thursday, February 20th at the Kacycee Clinic from 7:30 to 9:30 am both days.
People can screen for heart, kidney and liver functions, have an A1C hemoglobin test, and many other choices.
Some tests require fasting for 12 hours, unless you are diabetic. Check with your doctor if you have questions.
Be sure to mark your calendar for the annual Johnson County Health Fair Saturday, March 8 from 9am until noon to pick up your results and to check on some of the latest health-related information while you are there.
