Tuesday, December 21st, is the 144th anniversary of the Fetterman Battle, and as has been the custom at Fort Phil Kearny / Fetterman Battlefield, a public tour is taking place. Site Curator, Sonny Reisch gives us the details.
Reisch says that weather will dictate how extensive the battlefield tour will be.
There is no charge for this 20th annual celebration, and hot cider and cookies await participants after the tour.
