The 21st Annual Community Holiday Dinner will be held this Sunday at the Holiday Inn. The dinner started out targeting those with an economic need but has grown to take in those with social or emotional needs as well.
Debi Isakson has been helping with the dinner since its inception, she tells us more.
Now, still free of charge, the dinner serves more than 1,000 each year. Entirely volunteer and donor-based, the event provides 400 food bags to families in need, 300 gift bags to children, and 150 gift bags to disabled adults.
The event will be held from 4 to 7 pm at the Sheridan Holiday Inn. Organizers ask that those attending get tickets in advance. Fore more information call Isakson at (307) 674-6446 Ext. 4302 or (307) 752-6981.
