Tossing a pie in the face of your bosses - who of course have to dress up in cheerleader's outfits - and doing it all for a good cause? Well, for over a decade Sheridan's Albertson's store has been participating in the Turkey Buck Challenge.

Melinda Hart, service operational manager at Albertson's, explains.

If the Albertson's store reaches their goal of $10,000 by Christmas, the store director, assistant store director and the grocery manager will all dress up in cheerleader's outfits and allow their staff to give them a pie facial. Hart says as of Monday, her store has accumulated more than $8,000 in donations.

Sheridan Food Bank and Payee Assistance on North Main will then use the funds to serve Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners to the less fortunate.

But there are some secret angels in the community.

Stop by the Albertson's store in Sheridan if you'd like to make a donation.
