Earlier this week Sheridan Media reported on air service in Sheridan as we heard from Forward Sheridan's Jay Stender about the formation of an air service task force that would be made up of local individuals. The topic of Wednesday's Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon was local air service. Chamber Executive Director Dixie Johnson.
Pete Schoonmaker, who's on the Wyoming Aeronautics Commission representing District 5, which includes Sheridan, Johnson, Campbell, Weston and Crook Counties, was the featured speaker at the luncheon.
The formation of an air service task force would open up federal and state funding possibilities that would go along way in improving air service in Sheridan County. If you'd be interested in serving on such a task force, you can contact the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce at 672-2485.
