Several weeks ago, we reported that Sheridan County School District #2 expressed their intention to withdraw from the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board. The J-P-B is made up of representatives from the school district, the City of Sheridan, and Sheridan College. SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs says that there is a good amount of work that needs to be done before the change can happen.

During a special meeting held by SEEDA this week, Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young stated that he was disappointed that the school district did not have a representative at the meeting, which in turn meant that the board could not take any action on agenda items due to a lack of a quorum.
