For the second time in just over a week, vehicles were involved in a serious smash-up on Brundage Lane near the Maverick Gas Station.

This accident involved a white pick-up carrying a couple and a small red sports car, also carrying two passengers. Jason Hamby, Lead Paramedic with Rocky Mountain Ambulance, told Sheridan Media that all four people were transported to Memorial Hospital. The condition of each victim is unknown.

Sheridan Media initially received word that two children were with the couple in the pick-up truck; Hamby says that is incorrect. However, the two children's tricycle apparatuses did apparently fly out of the back of the pick-up upon collision.

Referring to it as a "2-vehicle t-bone" crash, Rocky Mountain, along with Goose Valley Fire, responded to the 1100 block of East Brundage Lane at about 12:15 Friday afternoon.

Totally agree that folks need to stop pulling out in front of each other. I don't believe the stop sign is to blame. The accident that happened in April was because a guy pulled out of Maverick and T-boned a car sending it into oncoming traffic. I might agree that there should be a stop sign instead of a yield sign coming off the interstate. Folks need to SLOW DOWN and PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brundage Lane

I had lived on Hwy 14 E for several years and I don't believe the speed limit is the problem. Most of the accidents I am aware of happened because of someone running the stop sign at the bottom of the off-ramp from the interstate. I think if they made the stop sign more visible ( some people are clearly blind ) or put 'rumble strips' in before the stop sign, maybe that would help.

wow

folks need to stop pulling out in front of each other...

Brundage Lane

Brundage Lane is a dangerous road. There have been three serious accidents in the past six months. The speed limit needs to be decreased by at least 10 mph before there is a fatality!!!!!
