Buffalo City Attorney Ben Kirven, during his report at the last city council meeting, said the air conditioning units had finally been cleaned from the ditch on city-owned property behind the Econolodge Motel on East Hart Street.
The BHS Boys' Soccer team performed the removal of the a/c units.
Kirven said there have been some preliminary discussions on ways to remove brush and debris from the ditch, from burning to a number of other ideas, and he will look more into some of the plans and report back to the council.
Kirven also suggested the city and county orchestrate some informational workshops for county residents near the NW Water Line Project to let them know how the process will work, that they need to form Special Improvement Districts if they choose to hook onto city water lines.
City Building Inspector Toby Rhoades reported that the City-wide Spring Cleanup will be May 15th through the 18th.
He has seen an increase in the number of Building Permits he has issued, especially ones for roofing.
And finally, he has been working with the engineers on the Clear Creek School assessment to help them compile their report back to the city in early June.
