A 911 remembrance ceremony was held Wednesday morning at the Sheridan Fire-Rescue Department to honor those that were lost in the attacks at the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and the crash site in Shanksville, PA twelve years ago. Sheridan Fire Chief Terry Lenhart reflects on the day that will forever be known as 911.

Sheridan County Sheriff Dave Hofmeier talks about how the terrorist attacks changed the awareness of law enforcement.

There were almost 3,000 casualties as a result of the events from September 11, 2001, however, it is impossible to calculate the number of lives that were affected by the tragic events of that day.
