The Exhibit Hall at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds became a place of homespun fun and food Saturday as the Powder River Basin Resource Council hosted its major fundraiser, the 6th annual Harvest Fest.

Chairperson Diane Wilkie tells us what the Harvest Fest is all about.

The afternoon began with a farmer's market and homegrown acoustic music by "Too Wet to Plow" which kept the folks entertained, but the evening activities are what brought the crowds in.

It was a home grown and home made meal prepared by members of the Powder River Basin Resource Council which included a roasted pig and buffalo with locally grown cuisine.

The conservation minded group stayed true to mission. Even the silverware was brought in with conservation in mind.

The PRBRC has been active for 39 years and Wilkie explains what they're all about.

The auction "Pies by Guys" ended the evening activities.
