An annual operating budget of $65.1 million was approved by the Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees Wednesday night. The budget does not include any across the board salary increases for any of the College District employees. Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young says that after the legislative session ended in March, they knew that raises would be out of the question.
Three faculty positions will remain unfilled due to budget constraints as well.
Young stated that faculty are the number one way that the College contributes to student success, and that they don't want to leave those positions unfilled for too long.
