Last month Sheridan Media reported that the Sheridan-Johnson Community foundation had awarded $20,000 in grant money to three different non-profits in Sheridan and Johnson County. One of the recipients of those funds was the Tongue River Child's Place in Ranchester. TR Child's Place Assistant Director Christine Christopherson explains how the grant will be used.

Christopherson said that parents looking for more information about the scholarship program can contact the Tongue River Child's Place at 307-655-2226. The Tongue River Child's Place is a non-profit center that has been serving children and families in the Tongue River Valley since 1991.
