An artist's reception was held Thursday night on the mezzanine of the Sheridan Fulmer Library featuring the work of local artist Eilene Roadifer Johnson.
Called “Drawings and Paintings: 50 Years in Wyoming,” the show emphasizes Johnson's over the past 50 years. She has also added a handwritten description below each piece. She describes her work.
The 75 year-old artist moved to Wyoming when she was 18. For her, art has helped her get through the rough times in life.
One of Johnson's character drawings defines a “Hunk.”
The “Hunk” and Johnson's other artwork will be on display through August.
