It doesn't happen very often in Big Horn, especially on a Sunday afternoon. Both sides of its main thoroughfare, Johnson Street, was packed with parked cars, plus the side streets as well. A great turnout, all in honor of Lane Goldhammer, a Big Horn student who passed away four years ago in a car accident.
Organizer, Gail Carlson...
Held at the newly opened Big Horn Smokehouse and Saloon, it was a capacity crowd. The fundraiser included food, fun, music, a raffle and silent auction. This would have been Lane's senior year in high school.
Keeping Lane's memory alive, hopes are to see the scholarship self-supporting.
