411 On Rodeo After-Parties

Don't go home after the parade this morning because there's a lot going on around noontime to tie you over until the rodeo gets going.

Decker Coal is celebrating its 40th birthday with a barbecue on the front lawn of the Buffalo Bill Museum. It's free to the first 500 people.

You can “clown around” at Holy Name Catholic School. They'll have water slides, water balloons, face painting, games prizes and more. For $5, you can get a hamburger chips and a drink. Hot dog meals are $3.

Adults who are too shy to get their faces painted can head to the Elks club to meet retired and active rodeo clowns. They're serving baked beans with their burgers and chips for $5.

At noon, Teka Brock will be playing at the Black Tooth Brewery and there's no cover charge.

And, finally, at one o'clock, the Kiwanis Duck Race will be at Kendrick park. Tickets will be available at the event.
